The ideal candidate must have expertise in Ab Initio solution design, documentation, and a strong background in data warehousing and business intelligence projects. The role involves working closely with multiple teams, contributing to the full SDLC lifecycle, and adhering to Lean/Agile development methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Ab Initio Development: Utilize Ab Initio suite, including GDE, Plans, continuous flow, m-hub, ACE/BRE, and other components for end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects. Technical Design and Development: Architect and design ETL, data, and transformation programs, delivering enterprise-complexity ETL solutions using Ab Initio suite products. Data Modeling and Transformation: Analyze requirements and design documents, create technical mapping documents, data models, and transformation rules, validating them with client teams. Unix, RDBMS, and SQL: Demonstrate proficiency in Unix, relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata), and SQL scripting. Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new solutions, tools, and methodologies to enhance the overall operational model process. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, development teams, and project managers to understand requirements and business rules. SDLC Lifecycle: Support ongoing ETL efforts in multi-lane development, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production Environments. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 6-12 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL projects. Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Unix scripting, and full SDLC lifecycle. Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies. Proficiency in Ab Initio components, including GDE, plans, continuous flow, m-hub, ACE/BRE. Familiarity with the latest versions of Ab Initio and BRE. Understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata. Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities for effective collaboration with tech delivery teams.
