DUE DATE: COB 12/8/23 JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Peoplesoft Technical Functional Analyst completes software development tasks including features, new functionality, and upgrades. This position works with technical support staff, functional analysts, or network specialists to develop code fixes, to perform modifications and/or updates to existing systems per design documents or to implement new interfaces or processes. The individual will be able to Identify, investigate and resolve production problems and participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements. Designs, codes, and modifies complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts. Performs necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, debugging detected errors, etc. Performs customer service, coordination, and communications in a complex HHSC organization. Oversees trainers, technical support staff, network specialists, and contract staff to perform modifications and updates to existing systems or to implement new systems. Identifies, investigates, and resolves production problems. This may include analyzing problems, coding, testing, implementing, and training of other technical staff and/or customers. Facilitates stakeholders and user approvals of new system modifications and the migration of fixes. Develops current software development methods/techniques and establishes development standards (which include programming standards, documentation standards and testing standards) to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications. Oversees code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements. Develops and maintains documentation CAPPS Financial Security roles and tasks for internal IT staff and stakeholders.
