Role - Firmware Developer

Location - Remote (PST)

1. Production quality (in Unit Tested environment) in C for Root of Trust (RoT) Firmware development, SoC bring-up, bootloaders, platform initialization, board support package porting, crypto library porting, peripherals such as PCIe, NVMe, I2C, SPI, USB, UART, and I3C.

2. Design and implement specifications for cutting edge features related to security. Stress on modular design and code reuse to achieve maintainability.

3. Design and development of automation unit and functional test plans, pipelining in DevOps, Scripts and Tests to test firmware on pre-silicon platforms like FPGA and/or servers.

4. Assist with Firmware Release Integration and validation (including validation environment set up) for SoC firmware, Platform RoT firmware or System firmware/software comprising different domains within server architecture (e.g. SoC FW, BIOS, BMC etc.) by executing new and existing tests, to file bugs, assist with root cause analysis and firmware fixes when necessary. Provide the appropriate documentation for the issues found.

5. Provide technical guidance to internal developers or external partners to deliver serviceable, reliable, and scalable solutions. This guidance shall be given in response to ADO tickets, or as documents attached to the ADO tickets. Any further interaction around this guidance will be limited by client to the Supplier Lead Point of Contact (SPoC).

6. Assist in product development from bring-up, validation, productization and sustaining activities. Note that the requirements for this assistance will only be provided to Supplier via ADO tickets with the SPoC.

7. Security Expertise to enable Penetration Testing.

8. Ability to do RCA on complex issues utilizing experience with analyzers, Aardwarks, dediprog, scopes for intermittent issues.

1. Consolidate various build/release/test pipelines and Azure DevOps (ADO) processes.

2. Based on given requirements, design, define, architect and develop highly scalable and reliable ADO DevOps processes including but not limited to Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Validation.

3. Setup pools of machines so that they are available for use by teams.

4. Create ADO dashboards to monitor state of pipelines and set up alerts.

5. Setup pipelines to ensure validation and testing are done on devices provided at clients Labs.

6. Actively monitor, debug, and fix any ADO failures resulting out of this work.

7. Solid understanding of ARM architecture.

8. Ability to execute test runs on Pre-Silicon and Pre-EV devices.
