This person will be charged with the design and engineering of effective and scalable network systems and solutions. They will participate in evaluation, testing, selection, and deployment of foundational network elements for a network buildout. Furthermore, they will establish requirements, provide analysis for network and services specifications, network design, network partitioning, and network architecture definition. Requirements: 5 years of experience as a Wireless network engineer I. Must have 5+years of experience in specification, design, development, and deployment of digital wireless networks and communication systems inclusive of: Experience of 802.11 standards, CAPWAP, Cisco WLC; be able to use tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Ekahau or Airmagnet or other Survey and RF tools, to design and support WLANS. Establish requirements, provide analysis for network and services specifications, network design, network partitioning, and network architecture definition! Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on projects, and assurance of network integrity! Ensure that solutions adhere to defined standards and best practices and/or assist in the development of these standards and best practices. Routinely research, analyze, test, retest, and troubleshoot complex problems. II. Solid understanding of Cisco Wireless Network architecture, design, configuration, and operations is required. Must have prior exp. designing & communicating engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams. Cisco wireless and switching (both WLC and Meraki) Mist wireless and switching III. Solid Understanding of the OSI model, routing and switching protocols, network security, IPv4 networking, subnetting, and operational experience IV. Demonstrated technical success in a fast paced, results-oriented engineering environment. V. Ability to work independently, and mentor others. VI. Possessing active certifications: CCIE Wireless, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), is a strong plus.
