PRIMARY LOCATION:

Services to be performed at Jacksonville, FL

CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:  US Citizenship

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science

CERTIFICATIONS:

Must hold below certifications:

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of experience in penetration testing..

Experience with a variety of penetration testing tools and methodologies.

Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and web application security.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Conducts thorough assessments of computer systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities.

Plans, executes, and reports on penetration tests to identify and exploit security weaknesses.

Simulates real-world cyber-attacks to assess the effectiveness of existing security controls.

Evaluates and tests network infrastructure for vulnerabilities, including firewalls, routers, and switches.

Identifies and recommends security enhancements to safeguard network integrity.

Assesses the security of web applications by identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and authentication bypass.

Collaborates with developers to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Conducts social engineering tests to assess the human factor in security, including phishing simulations and user awareness training.

Prepares detailed reports outlining the findings of penetration tests, including vulnerabilities discovered, exploitation techniques, and recommendations for remediation.

Clearly communicates technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and hacking techniques.

Continuously expand knowledge of emerging threats and security best practices.

Works closely with IT and security teams to ensure that identified vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner.

Provides guidance on security best practices and assist in the development of security policies.
