Client: Cardinal Health Duration: 6+month contract Title: ServiceNow ServiceMapping Developer Rate: 50/hr c2c Location: Remote; Visa: USC/GC Responsible for designing, implementing, and providing support for applications, systems, and IT products required to enable Cardinals business objectives ServiceNow ServiceMapping Developer Main Duties includes: Creating new service maps/patterns and building/validating that related event management capabilities are working to support an automated service health dashboard. Work closely with Business Analyst,Technical Architect and Application SME's to create new service maps/patterns. Document Technical requirements when required Design and configure the ServiceNow Platform and ITOM applications based on leading practices to deliver solutions aligned to customer business outcomes. Code and Develop customized Patterns, Probes and Sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping Sound knowledge in CMDB and it operation management Skills: Key Skills Experience Comprehensive understanding and background in ServiceNow Service Mapping and how it should populate the CMDB Design, deploy, and manage ServiceNow Service Mapping solutions for both on-premise and cloud resources Define, create, and manage the Service Mapping infrastructure, including schedules, credentials, and mid-Servers Develop, document, implement, and maintain Service Mapping governance processes, procedures, standards, and policies Define, create, and manage Service Mapping infrastructure, including patterns Advanced experience with SN service mapping (new/custom patterns) and impact assessment rules on more recent versions of the platform. Familiarity with web application development to help you know how to traverse those layers in service map patterns. Define, create, and monitor Service Mapping health reports and dashboards o Identify, investigate and resolve Service Mapping issues in a timely manner Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping Knowledge on identification, classification rule in CMDB Knowledge over event and alert rules to articulate the ServiceNow CMDB Classes for Asset and Configuration, their relationships and dependencies Required Hands on experience with ServiceNow ITOM implementations Ability to discuss credentials, troubleshoot permission issues, discuss and troubleshoot network connectivity with network engineers Knowledge and/or experience with Linux, Windows, and SQL commands necessary to build out applicable patterns. Experience with Public and private cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and their corresponding APIs. Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST Basic understanding of Windows/Unix admin, XML, Regex and JSON skills Understanding business applications and their functionality in the ITIL model Familiarity with network concepts (routers, switches, firewalls, NAT, load balancing) Intermediate to deep understanding of Ruby and Java RegEx Knowledge of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization (WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware) Advanced JavaScript skills (which is basically required for ServiceNow Development work) Experience scripting with PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, python, JavaScript, XPath, SNMP Education: Education or Equivalent Bachelors degree in Business Administration, MIS, CIS or equivalent work related experience required 4+ years of hands on experience in ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM/ServiceMapping Training ServiceNow Fundamentals ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals ServiceNow Platform Implementation Service Mapping Fundamentals Service Mapping Implementation ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Service Mapping Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals CCNA or equivalent ITILv4 Foundations -- Keywords: message queue information technology green card |
