Knowledge of Stream API, GCP and Googles big data technologies. Responsibilities will center around the challenges in our business area including: Scale of data: every customer and transaction are eligible for Anti-Money Laundering investigations Breadth of product and jurisdiction: Money Laundering is a global issue, with local regulation Technology fragmentation: the existing processes are split over many platforms We are going to build a new Financial Crimes Platform to bring these things together in a fast modern system. Core Qualifications Proficiency in Java or Kotlin is required. Experience with React.js is strongly preferred. Ability to write clean code that can be interpreted easily and leveraged by other development teams within the organization. Knowledge of or desire to work with GCP and Googles big data technologies would be a plus but not required. Strong communication skills. Must have the ability to collaborate with others to create, improve, and optimize on deliverables. Strong analytical capability - must be able to explain different potential outcomes for solutions before a decision to proceed into development is made. Focused on continuous improvement.
