Job Description : Role: System (Windows/VMware) (Lead/ Architect ) With Cisco UCS experience Location: Research Triangle Park, NC (Day 1 onsite) Hire type: Contract Job Description :- The systems engineer must possess experience/knowledge with some of the following: Microsoft Windows server, AD, Linux, VMWare/ESX including VMWare high availability solutions and snapshot backup technologies, Citrix, NetApp storage, load/balancing solutions, Cisco UCS, Nutanix, Thin Manager, Vortex or similar components. He/she must have demonstrated hands on experience with troubleshooting Windows and Linux server platforms and understand Oracle and SQL database functionality/connectivity, layer 2 and 3 technologies and do simple troubleshooting techniques DNS, DHCP, CIFS/NFS, SAN/NAS, DBMS, VLANs, and server side configurations Experience with some of the following: Cisco routing and switching, Load Balancers, TACACS+/Radius, Nexus, Checkpoint firewall. Experience working in a GxP environment.
