Role: VMWare Consultant Location: RTP, NC (Day1 Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: Oracle and SQL database functionality/connectivity, layer 2 and 3 technologies and do simple troubleshooting techniques. DNS, DHCP, CIFS/NFS, SAN/NAS, DBMS, VLANs, and server-side configurations Experience with some of the following: Cisco routing and switching, Load Balancers, TACACS+/Radius, Nexus, Checkpoint firewall. Experience working in a GxP environment. Knowledge about scripts, and or services for the platform environment, such as PowerShell Perl or similar Basic understanding of backup solutions such as Netbackup, Rubrik, Networker, BackupExec Self-Starter, eager to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment and work in multiple networking technology domains.
