Building out Pega COE Conversion Salary Range: $110-150K (have said okay to interviewing slightly higher) Interview Process: 2 rounds 1st: HM (Marci) and Product Owner 2nd: Technical Interview Position Summary: The Pega CSSA plays a key role in scoping and delivery of complex digital transformation projects using Pega capabilities, such as intelligent automation, artificial intelligence, robotic automation, and low-code. In this role, the Pega CSSA will coordinate with internal business subject matter experts (SMEs), enterprise architects, and guide third-party development team to oversee the technical implementation of Pega projects. This includes ensuring Pega solution designs follow best practices, maximize Pega out-of-the-box capabilities, and aligns with expected business value. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise level business solutions and applications Must have working knowledge on Enterprise Class structure Should have knowledge on Rule resolution Should have knowledge on Pega DCO and Application Profiler Must have working knowledge on Performance Tuning (PAL, Log Analyzer, DB Tracer/Preflight and PDC) Must have working knowledge on advance Pega OOTB Integration (Exp - Exception handling, Data Mapping for services and connectors, Security model for SOAP connectors & services) Must have working knowledge on advanced Pega out-of-the-box Integrations (e.g., exception handling, data mapping for services and connectors, security model for SOAP connectors & services) Must have working knowledge on Pega Deployment experience / knowledge (Deployment Architecture) / Rules import & Export Should have working knowledge on Pega Authentication & Authorization, authenticate using LDAP and implement Single-Sign-On (SSO) Should have working knowledge on job schedulers, listeners, and queue processors Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) Certification or higher BS / MS in computer science or related engineering field Intake Notes 10/23/23: Looking for someone who is a certified System Architect for Pega. Means theyve gone through a certain amount of training, gone through the testing to become certified. PEGA certification is NOT a complete deal breaker. If they have really strong experience theyd consider but there would be more focus on a technical interview. Started bringing Pega into organization about 1 ago. Its been all leveraging a 3rd party vendor to do all of the development work. She wants to start building some that knowledge internally and not have complete dependance on that 3rd party. This will be their 1st role on the PEGA team. She has an internal Tech Lead that came from Securians Enterprise Architecture area who really knows all their systems and how they integrate. But I don't have the deep knowledge of PEGA knowledge. Needs this person to come in bring that strong PEGA knowledge Gaps theyre having - implementation team is really good at given specific requirements, they can go and do they development in PEGA but they want someone who can think more Architecturally and even challenge them on the way that they are recommending moving forward, that has the knowledge to say, "because I understand PEGA youd be better off doing it this way." Must be able to Solution, Design, Architecture. Need to have a deep understanding of PEGA and integrate with other systems Need good communication skills and design skills. Will be mentoring others.
