Please send across the resume earliest to [email protected] Title Senior Developer (Salesforce - CI/CD) Location 3 days onsite per week in McKinney TX Duration:- Contract Job Description: Reporting to the IT team lead, the Senior Salesforce Developer will be a core part of the Salesforce Platform Development team. This position is a key technical staffer that builds solutions, performs process work in conjunction with automated systems and third-party applications. This position is responsible for the day-to-day aspects of maintaining code, documentation, and complex integration components. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, thorough knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its best practices, architecture and system integrations with other platforms are required. This person is a hands-on worker who will drive the creation of logical models and documentation, and to work with others to design and implement process and tools. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build integration infrastructure. Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple Salesforce environments using tools like Jenkins, Subversion, Git, Mercurial, and Maven. Write build and deployment scripts. Support CICD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. Support full automation of CI Testing. Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for the work of developers. On-board and train and support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, Deployment based on tools usage and policies, standards. Enable DevOps by moving code from Dev, Test to Staging and Production. Troubleshoot issues along the CICD pipeline. Agile Software Development and Management methods and ability to excel within an "Agile" environment i.e., user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc. Good written and verbal communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: 5+ years experience in Salesforce and CI/CD eco-system Strong knowledge in setting up CI/CD environment in Salesforce platform. Good knowledge of Gearset tool Sound knowledge on the branching strategy. Experience in process documentation, working with clients to review/refine and baseline documentation. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills including the ability to work individually and work in a team environment building consensus and mentoring fellow team members. Mass data integration/handling tools (Informatica, etc.) is a plus Ability to interpret and implement roadmap plans and enterprise-level Architecture.
