You like responsibility and are outstanding at managing everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access. Summary This is a blended role providing Field Services for individual users. Whats important for Field Services Support Services encompass a wide range of support functions onsite at in-scope locations: Technical problem troubleshooting Hardware repair and installation Software repair and installation Setup services Mobile phone support Distribution of peripherals Triage and escalation to Global Helpdesk or Tier 2 as set forth in the operations manual Smart hands support (server reboots, network equipment, cabling, and other tasks performed using remote supervision and instruction from Microsoft personnel) The aim of the support service is to provide a hands-on IT support experience that enhances user productivity and strengthens user satisfaction and reduces the need for users to contact support services through enhancing IT deployment scenarios and encouraging selfhelp and self-healing solutions. Basic Qualifications College degree in applicable field At least 3 years of field support experience Experience working with the Microsoft software and products Experience working with technology and support requirements for site services Good interpersonal skills to resolve field support problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills Good time management and organizational skills Ability to resolve complex hardware/software and equipment problems Ability to provide guidance to other field engineers Willingness to travel Work Environment Office environment Shipyard environment (can experience louder environments and or dusty environments) Candidate must supply their own steel toe work shoes.
