Hybrid model. Local candidates in NC preferred Key Responsibilities: Develop test Automation script in Python . Execution of tests, Review and\\or validate fixes and defect tracking in JIRA. Verification of software, Firmware and hardware interoperability for supported platforms. Review and refactor existing tests/test scripts and provide suggestions to improve the quality and efficiency of the test. Communicate test results and highlight potential quality risks. Ensure test design is traceable to requirements, user stories or existing manual tests and achieves a high level of requirement/test coverage. Perform Root cause analysis for Beta or production defects. Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have. Domain (Preferred Industry) Retail Point of Sale and/or Retail Petroleum/Dispensers Experience in design and implementation of validation procedures, test plans, and test cases. Experience in writing test automation scripts. Experience in Python and Selenium is a must . Experience in developing, writing and managing the execution of an overall software test strategy Experience in Test/Defect Management Tools Preferred JIRA, Zephyr Experience working as part of an agile SCRUM project team Good computer skills (Windows, Excel, Outlook, etc) Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have.
