I need an engineer who comes to work every day looks at the current server systems read outstanding tickets, and fixes VMWare, Microsoft server and production applications. They know how to build new servers with VMWare and Microsoft. They will know how to install new off the shelf applications, with database systems, and is a systems admin.. Details: Client is looking for a Microsoft Server Engineer who will join a high performing team of engineers who are currently involved in project work for a worldwide pharmaceutical company. You will be challenged from a leadership team of forward-thinking IT professionals who are building a Microsoft infrastructure for the company's future. Work is hybrid (1-3 days per week onsite depending on workload). Qualified candidates would have the following: Experience with Microsoft Win2008 through Win2022 Server Operating Systems Experience with Active Directory - User and Group Management, Group Policy Experience building Virtual servers in vCenter Experience with PC OS Win10 and Win11 Experience with SCCM, Splunk, Carbon Black, McAfee or like antivirus Microsoft Systems Center or relevant monitoring solution Application Configuration with Vendors on Workstations and Servers Server rack installation of Hardware (Servers, Storage, etc) including ability to lift hardware ServiceNow or like IT Ticketing System Strong Troubleshooting Skills Team player who can also work independently Has worked in regulated company before (Pharmaceutical, Medical, Military, or Banking) PowerShell Scripting Networking Education / Certifications The following qualifications are ideal, but not required: Bachelor's degree or similar experience preferred.
