Job Title: Java Backend Developer (not fullstack) Location: Boulder/Louisville CO (locals only Job Type: 12 Months Contract Experience: 8+ years Note: linkedin Must be updated and clients must be tagged with Logos Visa: No OPT/CPT, GC(below 15 years exp) Job Description: Requires programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs. In specific cases, knowledgeable on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out). Skill/Experience/Education Qualification: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or relevant disciplines. At least 7 years of experience. 4+ years of experience in USA(Onsite) Required Skills: Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks Ability to work independently under minimal supervision Ability to collaborate with global team members and mentor junior members of the team Ability to perform design, develop and code reviews for team members Qualifications: Backend development (90%) Expertise in server-side languages such as Java. Expertise in backend frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot. Experience in working with RESTful APIs Familiarity with database technology, particularly, Oracle. Familiar with working in an Agile / SCRUM environment. Familiar with micro frontends and micro services.
