End Client -Charter Sr. Data Developer Lead (team lead/people lead) Denver area Hybrid role 3 days onsite. 12+ month contract they are targeting Contract-to-Hire! USC/GC Candidates must have lead/management experience on their resumes. Looking for a solid PEOPLE manager will manage a team of 3 ETL engineers as well as contribute technically, versus a technical lead. Must have solid SQL Scripting skills and experience as well as hands on with AWS (S3, Lamda, EMR, etc). Also they must complete a SHORT SQL Scripting questionnaire that typically takes about 20 minutes I will send it to them after I talk with them. This person will have three people reporting to them and it's going to be really important that they have senior ETL skills and again this is SQL scripting from scratch creating a SQL pipeline ETL pipeline from scratch as well as Tableau and it's they have Tableau developers on the team, but somebody who's used Tableau Server or is worked with Tableau before doing that data visualization and their background will be key. Also being able to work, you know deploying all this data to the cloud will be part of this person's job. So having experience with AWS is ideal and they use S3 and Lambda, so they did have a candidate they talked to last week or they really liked, but they started digging into their AWS experience and just wasn't strong enough. This person with serve as a lead, for a team of 3. Looking for previous lead or management experience. Technically will oversee ETL and Tableau work of the team. The projects will focus on Sprectrum.Net- streaming news and sports as well as an internal application called Panorama. Panorama is an internal HR, benefits, training, payroll application used by all internal Charter employees. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work well independently, has a good attitude and is flexible, especially with change. There will be 2 rounds of interviews The manager is looking for 8+ years of senior level ETL work. Candidates must be able to optimize SQL queries, and create data pipelines from scratch. Python, Terraform and AWS experience are required to be successful in this role. Sr Data Developer (equivalent to a Lead individual contributor / Mgr equivalent) Targeting for contract to hire No Visa Candidates, Skills Heavy SQL experience (~5+ in an enterprise environment) Python, Scala, Terraform familiarity Tableau Server familiarity preferred (not necessarily tableau development) AWS Experience (S3, Lambda and EMR) Experience mentoring teammates Executive Presence Digital Platform Analytics experience preferred but not required.
