Position : D&C Analytics Engineer Location Onsite, Houston, TX (Local) Duration : 6+ Months Contract Visa:NO H1B /CPT/OPT Interview mode: Interview : video Job Description Must-have skills: Pelotons WellView Software ; Python and SQL; Spotfire and PowerBI; Field experience with Drilling or Completions; Experience with Corva Requirements: Experience in programming, data analysis, and machine learning techniques; Experience with drilling and completions operations; Experience with Pelotons WellView Software; Programming experience in both Python and SQL; Dashboarding experience with Spotfire and PowerBI; Field experience with Drilling or Completions (preferred); Experience with Corva (preferred); Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Geophysics, Physics, Data Science, or Data Analytics; Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Support the drilling and completions (D&C) team by managing and analyzing data and leading analytics initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs consolidating and redeveloping PowerBI and Spotfire dashboards for D&C performance monitoring, automating data audits for WellView, identifying and reporting erroneous data, and assisting in all D&C analytics projects; Collaborating with Drilling and Completions Engineers to create tools addressing key challenges in operations; Designing and implementing data engineering strategies, extracting data from various sources for in-depth reports, and analysis to boost continuous improvement; Identifying and adopting new technologies, assessing solutions, and recommending changes to streamline operational workflows; Delivering specific well data analytics reports through Spotfire/PowerBI visualizations, offering insights on cost and operational performance; Overseeing and enhancing data capture and quality control processes; Aiding in wells optimization with data QA/QC, manipulation, analysis, and visualization; Engaging with the D&C team to promote improvements to the suite of analytics tools.
