Job Description: For the DBA below are the requirements. DB design, ETL & performance tuning (50%): Bridge gap between App developers (Python/Java) & DB Analytics/Dashboards 1. Design DB structures (Tables, Functions, Procedures, Triggers etc) as needed for the business 2. Work with App developers, and code SQLs/DB Objects 3. Design and Control of ETL process 4. Performance tuning of SQLs & DB configs DBA activities (30%): a.DATA migration between lab/prod environments b.Manage & Maintenance of DBs, Backups & Restores, Security and Integrity Containers (15%): a. Excellent hands-on containers/dockers installation/configuration, administration & security - k8s preferred (kubeadm, kubelets, kubeclts, etc) b. Containerization of databases c. Managing & Maintenance of containerized databases Good to have (5%): Development experience (Python/Java) Worked in cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Atlas) Experience with DevOps processes and tools (Jenkins/tools) Experience with Dashboarding applications (PowerBI/Tableau) Problem solving skills and ability to think logically Must have Technologies: MySQL, MS SQL, Postgres DB, Mongo DB, Hadoop, Apache Hudi, Databricks, Hive/Solr, Shell scripting, Python, Java, Kubernetes, RHEL.
