Job Role: OT HTML CSS Developer/Email Coding Expert Location: NYC or 100% Remote Duration: 12 months Location: first preference local candidates near NY or 100 percent remote Important to be strong with email in HTML and CSS. Coding for email in app and messaging 1 Proficient in HTML CSS 2) Email coding expert 3) Front end development Nice to have: Technical writing skills for other projects Understanding of Martec tools is helpful The Email / Front-end developer will be an integral part of the Marketing Operations - Tech team. The role will be responsible for delivering stress tested messaging modules and template solutions for lifecycle messaging for our global marketing team. This role will require you to be proactive and a creative problem solver who consistently exercises the initiative required to keep operational processes running at their optimum. Responsibilities: Partner with Product Design to develop or enhance existing modules as part of the Messaging Design Framework. Understand the limitations of supported email clients and identify solutions to mitigate rendering issues. Provide technical leadership in preserving our high-quality bar through extensive render and device testing prior to releasing a new module or template capability. Leverage SFMC and Braze capabilities to their fullest when solutioning new capabilities with Product Design and other stakeholders. Manage Github repository of all code and versioning. Provide technical effort estimates and timelines for solution implementation. Understand our internal marketing partners requirements and provide the solution trade-offs that best meet the business requirements and preserve high-quality. Lead the implementation of email, in-app and CTV message development. Develop customized prototype solutions for reviews and enhancement opportunities. Conducts user acceptance, performance stress regression and integration testing where required. Provide status updates and write up documentation of internal processes, and/or updates as needed. Basic Qualifications Expert knowledge of email development, and front-end frameworks (e.g. Foundation, Bootstrap) Excellent knowledge HTML/CSS Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Java) Demonstrable experience in email/customer marketing, CRM, analytics or equivalent Working knowledge of continuous improvement, continuous delivery (CI/CD) 4+ years of experience with front-end development 2+ years of experience with SFMC or similar, ideally in a leadership role on at least 2 full-scale projects Preferred Qualifications Experience with Jira is preferred. Flexible and willing to assist other team members Able to work in a fast paced environment with quick turnaround Strong problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent interpersonal skills.
