Scenario based questions related to network designs JD: IDEAL BACKGROUND: The ideal candidate will be a Mid-level network engineer with Cisco IPSEC VPN experience. We need network engineers familiar with building IPSEC site-to-site VPN tunnels, using Cisco CLI. Along with these technical skills, this position also requires outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate will be dealing with multiple external 3rd party companies, negotiating VPN variables, coordinating, and scheduling the changes, and troubleshooting connectivity issues after deployment. TOP REQUIREMENTS: Years of experience: 6+ years Configuration and troubleshooting of IPSEC site-to-site VPNs Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks Communicate effectively with leadership, peers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders Flexible work schedule with ability to make after hours changes. What experience will set candidates apart from one another Hands on experience with Cisco routers building site-to-site IPSEC tunnels. Clear and articulate verbal and written/documentation skills.
