Weekly rotation (24/7) rare to have any issues Questions: Microsoft SQL database server platform and databases on-premises as well as cloud-based. on-premise and cloud-based (RDMS), SQL Server and its services, Azure SQL, SSIS packages and catalogs architecture, SSAS Cubes, and SSRS Reporting and Power BI Report Server Reporting to the Manager of Database Administrator, the Database Administrator will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, deployment, testing, maintenance, and documentation of enterprise databases in a client/server environment in support of various applications. Key responsibilities include: *Administer Microsoft SQL Server Relational Database Management System, SQL Reporting Services Servers, SQL Integration Services Servers, and SQL Analysis Services Servers and perform core database management tasks including software installation, database creation and configuration, database upgrades, backup and recovery, etc. *Perform trend analysis and system capacity planning. Monitor and optimize database performance, including partitioning strategies, index tuning, and query optimization *Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end while maintaining data integrity within the production environment, including the execution of proper backup and restoration policies and procedures which provide point-in-time restore capabilities *Engage proactively with Infrastructure Engineering and Application support groups to investigate and resolve any performance or functional issues related to application and database interactions while ensuring business customers are not impacted *Develop and Maintain ETL processes for non-complex data integrations *Support 24x7 global environments and ensures their availability, performance, security, and operational efficiency Experience and qualifications: *Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in from a four-year college or university and minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience with a minimum of 3 years SQL Server Database Administration *Core understanding of on-premise and cloud-based Relational Database Management System (RDMS), SQL Server and its services, Azure SQL, SSIS packages and catalogs architecture, SSAS Cubes, and SSRS Reporting and Power BI Report Server *Well-versed in an assortment of technologies beyond databases, which typically exist at the center of sprawling systems that interact with applications, reporting tools, servers, operating systems, and networks Keywords: business intelligence Pennsylvania http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=917742&uid= |
