In this instance a Biomarker kit needs to be created, sent to the patient lab to retrieve specimens and spent back to the customer. 1 year engagement Shop floor needs to be set up by end of March- engineer run in April of next year and Production performance qualification (PPQ) in May This is small batch manufacturing to ship around the world for clinical trials This will entail an every month blood sampling etc, to see how the patient is reacting currently this process is being done by a 3rd party and our customer wants to move this in house. The goal is to produce these Biomarker kits internally within our customer- ship to clinics directly.. The goal is to be able to buy the tools to build the kits and store the components in the warehouse until they need it to build the individual biomarker kits and ship them out to clinics. *Main areas effected: Source to pay, Plan to make, Store to deliver, Order to cash, EWM, Inventory MGMT Pick pack and ship, staging process *Master Data is also heavily involved depending on the kits needs for different phases *New manufacturing line in will need to be built from scratch, however the customer is already live in SAP EWM, SD, MM, QM and PP.. *Already buying material in SAP using EWM to manage warehouses.
