Position Title: Project Manager Duration : 6 months + Extension Location: : Detroit, MI (Hybrid Onsite least 3 days/week - Wednesdays are mandatory) Rate is 50/HR On C2C Only Local of MI (Hybrid)-No OPT, H1B Job Descriptions: Scope of Services The Technology Services department of our client is responsible for providing and managing the Airport Authority's technology needs for both Detroit Metro and Willow Run airports. Technology Services is seeking a locally qualified Project Manager to work 40 hours/week. Most of the projects at client office are hybrid and would require local contractors to be in office at least 3 days/week. Wednesdays are mandatory to be in the office. TS manager plans, organizes, and implements technical projects for the organization. Coordinate production releases and rollouts, delegate tasks to the necessary employees and present project progress and results. Minimum Required Competencies 1. 5 years of experience managing projects of varying size and scope. 2. Experience managing complex projects that spread across multiple departments. 3. Responsible for project planning and managing project(s) including developing project charters, project schedule, long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. 4. Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change. 5. Identify and document key business processes 6. Organize and Lead project meetings and record meeting notes for project team 7. Develop robust test plans to ensure effective application testing during the product implementation lifecycle. Oversees quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected. 8. Track/manage action items, issues, and risks and escalate major issues as needed 9. Assist with development of standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure proper support of technology solutions 10. Manage third party vendors Preferred Requirement Competencies : 1. Advanced Project Management Skills. 2. Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project 3. Excellent Cross functional, Interpersonal, Communication, Problem Solving, Decision-Making, Judgment and Resolution Skills. 4. An understanding of the business use and capabilities of information technologies, such as hardware and software business application 5. Ability to deliver appropriate project statuses to different levels of management. 6. Experience delivering project in public sector. 7. Certified Project Management Professional(PMP) General Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
