Position: AWS Engineer Location: Princeton, NJ Job Description: Have 3-8 years of experience in Cloud Operate and RDS Maintain and Management Activities of AWS RDS/Aurora DB and should be well versed to perform the following tasks Configuring the parameter group Managing IP traffic using a security group Auditing the database log files Maintenance and management activities Planning backup and recovery strategies User management Monitoring the database Analyze database workloads, identify problem spots, and design solutions to address these problems using monitoring and alerting tools for cloud based and on-premises deployments Streamline redundant operations and automate recurring tasks through scripting and use of modern technologies Know about Database deployment best practices - Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills required. Must be able improve performance. - Ability to diagnose problems and resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server, or storage tiers) Strong understanding of overall AWS infrastructure and services Monitoring system performance and recommend corrective action.
