Please find the below job description and if you are interested, please forward your resume to [email protected] Role: Cloud Network Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Description: Strong understanding of networking to include routing, switching, firewall (stateful/stateless), network monitoring and management. Expertise in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting these various technologies and protocols. Expertise with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and similar cloud services and have experience configuring and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer. Collaborate with other IT disciplines (e.g. Storage, Platform, Application) to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Drive enhancements through full life cycle from concept to final implementation and support Participate in disaster recovery development, exercises, and actual events. Collaborate with staff to support quality and maintainable systems. Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with networking technologies and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, wireless, and distributed networks) Experience designing, implementing, and sustaining services in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or Google cloud solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with: Agile framework or scrum teamwork environment. Cloud Networking Technology: AWS, Azure, Internet Gateways (IGW's), Virtual Private Networks (VPN's), Software Defined Networking (SDN) technology (e.g. Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)). Application Programming Interface (APIs) and API Gateways Ability to work and communicate effectively with remote teams Strong interpersonal, collaboration, written and verbal communication skills Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), Cisco, Juniper, Security+ certifications preferred Experience with Configuration Management tools (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.) Keywords: information technology |
