Client Experience Preferred Local to Texas profiles Preferred. Essential Duties Develops technical reporting solutions for the CAPPS Financials application that ensures consistency with established OOG and divisional standards, policies, and procedures. Troubleshoots technical reporting solutions for the CAPPS Financials application. Investigates reported issues, determines solution to issues, develops, tests, and promotes solution to production environment. Develops and performs queries and data analysis based on customer requests and needs in the CAPPS Financials application. Serves as the Agency Security Coordinator. Coordinates technical analysis, debugging and resolution of reporting issues. Communicates with agency subject matter experts and support staff on testing. Facilitates agency approvals and the migration of fixes. Coordinates TINS process. Produces documentation for reporting solutions for the CAPPS Financials application that ensures consistency with divisional standards. Assists in the development of comprehensive technical documentation for internal staff and/or external customers that is consistent with FSD standards. Assists in the development and review of functional documentation for customers as it relates to the technical/reporting solutions developed. Maintains regular work schedule. Performs all other related duties as assigned. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Years Required Experience 4 Required General ledger/commitment control, purchasing/e-procurement, accounts payable, billing/ accounts receivable, inventory, asset management, project costing, 4 Required Microsoft Suite experience including Advanced Excel. 2 Required State of Texas Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) and Centralized Accounting Payroll/Personnel system (CAPPS) Financials. Other skills needs: Knowledge of facilitation techniques in discussing requirements. Knowledge of effective management principles. Knowledge of process improvement methods. Knowledge of principles and practices of project management. Skilled in eliciting business and technical requirements. Skilled in communicating complex design and technical issues, as well as writing business cases and product requirements. Skilled in effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Skilled in gathering input, formulating a plan, and carrying it to fruition. Skilled in providing exceptional follow-through and customer-service. Ability to analyze systems, processes and procedures. Ability to write and revise standards and procedures. Ability to explain abstract concepts in concrete terms to a variety of audiences, including technical, non-technical and executive personnel. Ability to bring about consensus on contradicting views.
