| From: shyam, 4serve [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Selection Navigator (SelNav) Azure Architect (PaaS Specialist) What you will do: As an Azure PaaS Architect you will be part of a team of Architects focused on harnessing the power of Azure Cloud technology to enable our sales platform to meet customer objectives and provide an enhanced customer experience. You will work with our IT stakeholders and development teams to map out strategies and roadmaps to elevate our applications from being VM-bound to utilizing native Azure PaaS services. The Azure PaaS Architect will be primarily responsible for the following: Azure resource setup Azure DevOps implementation using JCI approved toolset Coordinate with the application teams for Cloud Migration or re-platform into Azure App services. Provide cloud compatible design and solutions Recommend and provide solution for data migration to Azure PaaS. The position operates within the Commercial IT organization in which the Azure PaaS Architect is primarily accountable for the transformation of SelNav apps to run as native Azure services. At times, this position will interact with a broader team of architects from ERP, Marketing, Analytics, RPA and Enterprise teams along with stakeholders from Information Security, Delivery, Program Management, and Business-IT Engagement. The role will operate as follows: Use technical expertise to review, interpret and respond to requirements to ensure alignment to long term architectural road maps. Design and align technology solutions to our target state ecosystem. Provide insights and thought leadership on best practices to guide technology decisions Provide technical leadership to coordinate, prioritize and define solutions PaaS transformation Prepare Solution Design Documents as required Understand service inter-dependencies and work with cross-functional teams towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems. Support risk management, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and audit remediation activities. Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts. Support IT governance processes and policies. Requirements include: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics /Instrumentation 3 years of hands-on experience working with cloud application 8+ years as a developer or architect using .NET technologies with at least two of these years as an architect Understanding of agile delivery principles and quality software engineering processes and practice Experience in DevOps / CI / CD Understanding of cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and iPaaS Experience with the design and development of object-oriented systems, developing solutions, and integrating platforms using enterprise integration software (e.g. Mulesoft). Excellent oral and written English. Ability to communicate effectively to technical team as well as business audience |
