Kindly let me know if you are interested in this opportunity Role: IT Business Analyst for Regulatory Reporting Location: Plano or Frisco Texas Onsite The IT Business Analyst role will be responsible for working with business colleagues around the organization to understand and document their current processes and assist with redesigning those processes into a new technical solution that creates efficiencies for the users and reporting processes. This role will require collaboration with technical resources in securing the data requirements. This role will require the incumbent to have an in-depth understanding of the financial solution so they can assist with day-to-day operations of the department. Position Competencies Successful incumbents possess the ability to work across various team, business, and departmental lines; document and translate technical and business processes; perform results testing measures; be effective at implementing new systems and procedures to evaluate their effectiveness. Position Responsibilities Work with business colleagues to understand and document their current IT & Business processes. Work with technical resources to secure data requirements. Assist with creating Business Requirement document (BRD) for project(s). Document data flow, configuration and testing results to ensure compliance with all audit requirements. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems Management OR 6 years of Finance or Data Analysis experience Should have worked in Regulatory Reporting but not limited to, the FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR reports under mentorship of production manager. 4 years of experience with accounting/finance processes, data flows, and the importance of system and process impact to the business 3 years of experience creating and delivering presentations 3 years of experience working with all levels of management and staff 3 years of experience with Microsoft tools (including Excel and MS Access.) 2 years of experience managing varying sized projects Keywords: information technology microsoft |
