Position Release Lead / Java Production Support Location Minneapolis, MN. Day 1 Onsite. (Locals are preferred if non local must relocate from day 1) Experience: 8+ Years Job Description: Release Lead: Responsible for managing Enrollment deploys (usually monthly but sometimes more frequent). The Release Lead will be the point person for all releases. The Release Train schedule for 2024 is present. The Release Manager ensures all participating squads have deployed to UAT, PFIX per the schedule. Coordinates and leads the deploy to PFIX. Coordinates and leads the deploy to PROD/BCP. Ensures participating parties are adhering to the game plan. Responsible for communication related to the schedule. Responsible for generating ServiceNow Change records and ensures approvals are received in time. Ensures all related artifacts such as game plans, configuration changes, db scripts, are submitted/finalized as required by participating squads. Puts out a weekly email status for the current and upcoming releases and includes list of recently completed releases. In addition to solid java skills, must have excellent communication skills, resourceful, good at establishing partnerships and good organizational skills. Non-Prod Support: Will provide adhoc support for non-production Enrollment application environments. Will bring parties together (ie chats or meetings) to resolves showstopper issues in lower environments. Vulnerability Management: Will work closely with another contractor to ensure area vulnerabilities are addressed.
