Interview: Phone/ Skype Visa: No H1B Job Description: IT Infrastructure Manager POSITION SUMMARY: The Infrastructure Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the technology infrastructure. This includes the State Data Center, computer servers, databases, communication networks, information security functions, disaster recovery capabilities and all associated staff. The Infrastructure Operations Manager is a member of the Information Technology Divisions core management team and is also responsible for coordinating with and providing services to the other functional units of the Division. Additionally, this position will assist in formulating, documenting, and supporting strategies, standards, and policies; maintain computer and network systems to ensure maximum availability of all systems supporting the department; develop and manage multiple budgets that fund the operational environment; and oversee all Operations enhancement and upgrade projects. This position will also be responsible for the integrity, planning, system research, design, implementation of multiple computer platforms, voice and data networks, information security, existing and new operations processes. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements. Five or more years experience managing computer and network systems technologies, three or more years managing a large technical staff, and two years formal project management experience. This position also requires experience developing and managing complex budgets, and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users. This position may require in-state travel with little notice at times, and off-shift hours and weekend work at times. The preferred candidate will have governmental experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers, desktops, enterprise database technology, working knowledge of Web/Intranet/Internet & cloud technologies, and working knowledge of Cybersecurity issues and technologies. Travel level: up to 10%.
