| Must be Local Consultant OH Client: Cardinal Health Duration: 18+ month contract Title: UI/UX Designer Location: Remote local to OH only Visa: no h1b Need LinkedIn, DOB, SSB with submission Seeking a detail-oriented Production UI/UX Designer that will help to support the UX team in collaboration with product teams by creating and/or modifying low-to-high fidelity static designs as well as developing and/or modifying interactive prototypes. Other opportunities include contributions to components for Design System, workflow diagramming as well as contributing to critique sessions. The UX designer will create detailed creative assets for written and visual content. The daily tasks will include preparing screens for development, designing screens, wires, and creating high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes. This position is perfect for a junior to mid-level designer seeking to learn from highly-skilled and thoughtful product designers. This role may be required to work with an offshore team daily at early morning hours or late evening hours - whatever works best for their schedule. Skills: DESIGN SKILLS Self-driven with at least 3-5 years of visual design and production experience with a passion for designing in a human-centered approach. Ability to work under tight deadlines and design constraints. Strong interaction design skills and familiarity with common design patterns. Understanding and working knowledge of responsive design with the ability to transfer web designs to tablet and mobile versions. A clear grasp of UX best practices for web and mobile product design and wire framing skills. Excellent written and verbal skills as well as demonstrating critical thinking skills. Portfolio should represent a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, UI and interactive aptitude, as well as the ability to articulate their graphic design and creative decisions.
