Position: Senior Tester (1 or 2 days/week onsite) NYC 4 Irving Plaza USC AND GC Location: (1 or 2 days/week onsite) NYC 4 Irving Plaza USC AND GC Duration: 6+ Month Job Description. Need only local candidates for this position Role & Responsibilities Drive the testing efforts and participates in the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) Verify the quality of the requirements, including testability, requirements definition, test design, test-script and test-data development, test automation test-environment configuration; test-script configuration management, and test execution Test planning, including development of testing goals and strategy Create and execute test plans and scripts, based on defined business requirements and acceptance criteria Maintain the Test Traceability Matrix (tracing the test procedures to the test requirements) Educate customers and project team about User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Facilitate meetings with stakeholders throughout the testing process Review and validate UAT test results Schedule and lead daily defect meetings and other meetings as required with stakeholders Manage the triage process for defects including assignments to Development and coordinating ownership and resolution Create summary reports and communicate defect metrics on a daily and weekly basis Coordinate and follow up with Development Leads and Testers on defect fix estimates and retesting estimates Collaborate with the Project Manager or Project Lead regarding the Integrated Change Control Process for change requests during the testing phase Identify opportunity for automated testing and execute where applicable and beneficial Skills & Requirements Required Skillset for Testing Resource Basic knowledge of software testing approaches: Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, SaFE Experience leading and mentoring testing teams Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Backlog and Dashboards o Test Plans and scripts with Azure DevOps Test Plan o Work Item resolution in Azure DevOps (Bugs, Incidents & Issues) Experience writing detailed test cases/scripts from business requirements Experience executing test cases/scripts Experience with concepts of API testing using Postman helpful Ability to react/produce in an Agile project atmosphere GAURAV GAUR DMS VISIONS INC. 972-645-9280 | dmsvisions.com/ | [email protected] 4645 Avon Ln, Suite 210, Frisco, Texas 75033, US Keywords: golang green card |
