Candidate must possess strong understanding of advanced statistical and mathematical principles, experience developing and maintaining data systems using .NET (Core), C# and SQL Server to include the ability to incorporate/integrate data visualization capabilities into responsive web design. Principal Duties: As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Development of loosely coupled services or microservices. Domain modeling. Utilize software engineering best practices to create software solutions. Implement secure coding standards and practices. Develop web applications using technologies such as .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, React. Collaborate and communicate effectively in an agile environment. Apply an engineering mindset. Contribute to the team in analysis, design, and testing. Develop software solutions by working closely with team members and stakeholders to identify value streams of delivery. Perform a wide variety of design, engineering, and documentation tasks necessary for the development, implementation, and sustainment of IT applications. Performs basic database administration tasks, performance optimization, index optimization, and writes advanced select queries Follows prescribed data standards, policies and procedures, information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices May prepare project plans, functional requirements, charters, timelines, coordinate meetings, budgets, statements of work, SOPs (standard operating procedures), status reports, cost benefit analysis and resource utilization estimates May assist in the development and completion of Problem Statements and Business Case Analysis Oversees the coordination of the installation, testing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems Works with customers to identify report requirements to translate data elements from the database to workable reports for the end-users and upper management Evaluates and provides guidance to project team members on the process employed in the analysis, design, documentation, and testing and/or evaluation of systems or segments of systems Qualifications: Degree: B.S. in Computer Science or related field preferred. Programing: Highly skilled and motivated full-stack developer. Experience with .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, Typescript, React, MS SQL Server, and other technologies and tools. Experience using secure coding practices, Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, microservices design and implementation. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Attention to Detail: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to be thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Agile: Knowledge of agile practices and ability to work well in an agile environment. Engineering: Capable of applying systems engineering concepts, such as structured design, supportability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability to ensure that applications are optimized and loosely coupled. Customer Service: Strong customer service and customer relations skills. Communication: Excellent communication skills. Desire and ability to communicate and collaborate at a high level.
