Determines how changing business needs will affect existing systems. *Participate in system design including definition of technical approach. Responsible for coding from general specifications; will perform new development and/or maintain existing systems, depending on assignment. *Develop job control, PROCS and/or stored procedures in support of a programming assignment. *Generate both program and system level test data and perform positive and negative testing of all technical assignments. *Develop and/or update documentation (user and internal technical) as project requires. *Follow team and company coding standards and guidelines utilizing structured techniques. *Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize workload and quickly change directions to focus on new projects/priorities. *Flexibility to be on call (support systems/implementation of projects/fix problems/etc.). *Other programming and/or analytical duties as may be assigned. Required Skills *COBOL CICS and VSAM (KSDS & ESDS) Programming experience. *Database experience. IDMS experience is nice to have, but open to SQL, DB2 or any other database experience. *Experience developing applications on the IBM Mainframe using Z/OS. *Strong communication skills to interact with business users *Strong analysis skills to dive in and research problems. This position will design, develop, implement, and support inventory and merchandising systems OR work on their Financial Systems group. They have a homegrown financial system written in COBOL, transaction accounting system, and other homegrown and COTS applications that tie into these financial systems. This includes credit card processing software and sales tax calculation software for their online and catalogue retail product sales. The work includes meeting with users to define requirements, formulate solutions using COBOL, IBM Mainframe SQL, Snowflake, and other applications, participate in system design, coding and testing applications and provide ongoing day-to-day support. Company Information: Full Beauty Brands is a clothing retailer with offices in Indy and NY. They have been in business for decades in Indy, and provide online and catalogue womens clothing.
