Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a ServiceNow developer with a focus on Service Portals.

In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web development technologies.

Experience with ServiceNow scripting and customization tools.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Service Portal Design and Development:

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Service Portals based on business requirements and user experience best practices.

Customize portal widgets, forms, and pages to create a user-friendly and efficient interface.

User Experience Enhancement:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and expectations, ensuring that Service Portals meet and exceed user experience standards.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continually improve and optimize the ServiceNow Service Portals.

Configuration and Customization:

Configure and customize ServiceNow instances to align with organizational processes and requirements.

Implement and maintain portal configurations, including catalog items, workflows, and integrations.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify and resolve issues related to ServiceNow Service Portals.

Provide timely support to end-users and address any technical challenges associated with the portals.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including ITSM, IT Operations, and other relevant departments, to align Service Portal development with overall business goals.

Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and share updates on portal enhancements.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Service Portal configurations, customizations, and development activities.

Create user guides and training materials to facilitate the use of ServiceNow Service Portals.
