This program will focus on providing expert guidance, tools, and reportable metrics to all Web Content Contributors as well as correcting Accessibility issues as needed. This position will be one of two team members who's primary focus will be Accessibility and will work along side the 6 person Web team. Responsibilities Provide input on selecting accessibility training and coordinate the implementation of the training classes for all content contributors Monitor web accessibility with the assistance of SiteImprove auditing tools Develop continuous improvement plans for the individual departments. Perform manual site audits as needed Review all web technology purchases for compliance with current WCAG standards Test and audit sites using assistive technologies ie. screen readers (JAWS), for accessibility and usability Document or correct accessibility issues found during testing and audits as directed.
