Title: Java Microservices Developer Location: Charlotte or Chicago (3 Days - hybrid) Duration: 1 year Skills Must: Java 17(very little), Spring Boot Strong Microservices, REST API, AWS or Azure or PCF, Cloud Native application development Rate: $62/hr. on C2C Max Experience : 8+ Responsibilities : (Mandatory) 8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack development (Coding, Unit Testing, Functional Automation) using Micro Services, Java Spring boot, REST API etc. Should have strong working knowing of building cloud native applications meeting 12/15 factor principles on Pivot Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Microsoft Azure. Should have good knowledge of designing and implementing unit test scripts and automation for the same. Should be able to work in a team of 9 developers and build good rapport with various Scrum stakeholders and other interface developers both in India and US. Expertise in Java, object-oriented design and analysis, programming styles and design patterns. Expertise in creating and consuming SOAP & REST web services Expertise in J2EE application development using Servlets, JDBC, Struts, Spring Boot, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON and RESTful Web Services and JMS. Good experience in code management, build and deploy tools GitHub, Jenkins & uDeploy. Perform back-end code reviews and writing unit test cases using Junit to achieve 80% code coverage. Write Functional Automation test cases for system integration using Selenium. Coordinate with architects and business experts across the application to translate key strategic objectives into actionable and governable roadmaps and designs. Analyze business and technology challenges and suggest solutions. Experienced with development and maintenance of web applications and enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies. Help clear impediments related to back-end development. Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design using Spring boot. Coordinate with architects and business experts across the application to translate key strategic objectives into actionable and governable roadmaps and designs. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to Work directly with US partner teams. Should be good with SDLC processes and CICD pipeline integration. Should be willing to work in shifts to provide better overlap with the US partner team & India teams. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Tools and Technology: Must Have Strong Hands-on Technical Expertise in below: J2EE, XML, Spring Boot 3.0, Spring Cloud, Spring REST / MVC, Cloud: Pivot Cloud, AWS. Logging & Triaging: Splunk, Log4J, App Dynamics Web Services, REST, Micro Services Database: DB2, Oracle 11g, 12c with SQL, PL/SQL Unit Testing: Write unit test scripts using JUnit. Functional Automation: Using Selenium Integration: Experience integrating front-end with back-end services Code Versioning: Git, GitHub Pipeline Tools: UDeploy, Jenkins, Artifactory, Build pack, Maven, Gradle Scheduler: Autosys Java version 17 1.
