Position: Apigee Edge Developer Location: Hybrid- Chicago IL (preferred), Dallas, Peoria, Champaign, Westminster Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Top skills: Apigee edge REST API Hands on experience with swagger editor or postman Experience with security standards a plus Scripting in python or JavaScript a plus Job details Job title: Team is responsible for the process, controls, security, publishing, consumption, monitoring and overall of governance of APIs on Apigee platform . This is a Global team with members in US & India . Required: 1. Experience writing API proxies on platform Apigee Edge (required), AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway or similar. 2. Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger Editor & Postman, and linting tools like Spectral, experience with GitHub. 3. Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and TLS. 4. Hands on experience with metrics and visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent. 5. Hands on experience with scripting languages like python/JavaScript or similar. Desired: *Familiarity working in a Scrum environment *Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS *Familiarity with ADO/GitHub *Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. *Good time management skills and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment . A typical Day : Reviewing OAS /Swaggers - Operational Developing Proxies - Operations Rotational weekly On Call Support /Incident Management using Service Now. Other Development Tasks like GitHub.
