IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for z/OS Administratior: Remote

Contrat

Maintenance and administration of a TWS 9.5 for z/OS in a End-to-End environment including support for Dynamic Workload Console (DWC).

Post version upgrade TWS maintenance and Job upgrades

Configure & Implement new TWS Predictive analytics features

Integrate TWS product with other z/OS components & Incident management tool for Automatic incident alerts.

Work with leadership/stakeholders to manage stakes and keep crystal clear communication.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Experience with TWS 9.5 and management reporting within DWC.

Experience with Installation and maintenance of product - IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler 9.5 for z/OS and Dynamic Workload Console.

TWS Administration - Customizing and configuring, Configuring the Dynamic Workload Console, Configuring Authentication and User Authorizations, Network & Connection settings.

TWS administration experience with its functions to Plan, Install, Configure, Upgrade, Maintain and Troubleshoot failures.

Proven experience with monitoring and evaluating system performance and performing tuning functions to achieve optimal system efficiency.

Excellent experience with IBM z/OS operating system.

Experience with z/OS, RACF, JCL, Unix System Services as related to TWS

Administration including designing new solutions, performance tuning, building test cases, configuration and customization.

Expert in Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with the Master Domain Manager.

Expert in Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with FTA Unlinks.

Expert in Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with DB2.

Expert in Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with WebSphere.

Expert knowledge of failover and recovery procedures (both short term & long term) for the TWS Master Domain Manager.

High level understanding REST and SOAP APIs.

Expert usage of conman and composer commands to assist with troubleshooting and to provide quality input for problem resolution.

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills including TWS end-to-end including incident and problem management with responsibility for root cause analysis and resolution.

Works directly with new customers and project teams to ensure all Scheduling Best

Practices and Policies and Procedures are understood and followed.

Provides on call support for Tech Batch Scheduling Tivoli

Required Skills:

- 7+ years experience with Tivoli Scheduling and Administration

- TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler 9.4) Advanced

- TDWC

- Master Domain Manager

- Backup MDM

- JSC (Job Scheduling Console) Advanced

- Agent Management (Fault Tolerant, Extended, etc.)

- WebSphere

- Excellent UNIX skills

- Shell Scripting abilities

- Familiar with database technologies DB2

- Good Networking skills

Good To Have: 

- ETL and Datawarehouse knowledge and experience

- Informatica (ETL) Power Center skills

- IBM Tivoli Certification

- Experience with ServiceNow application

- ITIL Certification

Education: 

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience:

 9
