Typically only 1. Project types will vary typically having something to do with ERP integrations. The role sits in the PMO of the organization. Projects start and end in a waterfall framework methodology with iterations in between. Project duration will start at 6 month, but typically they extend beyond this time. We are seeking a senior project manager with prior experience managing IT software projects. This experience could span SaaS implementations, to custom development, to BI to IT security. The individual needed for this role has at least 8 years of Project Management experience and fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge and is someone who drives projects to completion. Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent team building and motivational skills Effectively communicated project scope, schedule, and budget with both customers and contractors Ensured that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Assisted in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Ensured resource availability and allocation Developed a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Managed changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Measured project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Managed the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Performed risk management to minimize project risks Established and maintained relationships with third parties/vendors Created and maintained comprehensive project documentation Prior Keywords: business intelligence information technology Illinois |
