| Job Title: Solutions Architect (Data & AI) Confirmed Start Date: January 8, 20241A Contract: 12+ Months Work Location: 121 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080 Onsite or Remote: Onsite in San Francisco (maybe 3 days/week) - When business people are there After person builds relationships (after 4-5 months) go every other week Notes: System that has already been stood up but is constantly being changed (look at changes from architectural perspective, keeping blueprint, EA (Enterprise Architecture)) Changes based on requirements from business, things to scale out platform Look to see what doesnt belong on platform Things to create from scratch (different use cases across AI) Custom Solution built on AWS Business side built out existing system Looking For: 8-10+ total years of experience AWS Solutions Architecture (2 Years) Data Science background Big Pharma or Healthcare (including agencies) Tools: Lambda, S3 Glacier, Amazon Comprehend, Textract Other tools: API gateway, cloudfront, jenkins, amazon comprehend, AC medical, secrets manager, parameter store, node js, amplify, ecr, ec Day to Day: Work with Oncology business unit that built out AI platform 40/60 - business/ solutions architecture All on AWS Be aligned to the oncology business unit to help architect the system moving forward Apply governance checks and Security Makes sure they are using AZ strategic platforms Reusing AZ strategic platforms AWS, integrations to other AZ systems and will continue to build Orchestrated Customer Engagement (OCE) CRM - Specific to oncology AI Platform: AWS Stack Integrations to omnichannel system Imbedded with Veeva CRM and Orchestrated Customer Engagement (OCE) CRM - Specific to oncology Must haves: Minimum of 2 years Solutions Architecture background, 8-10+ years overall experience Coming from a Data Science background Enterprise level organizations Using - Lambda, S3 Glacier, Amazon comprehend, Amazon textract EA reference architecture knowledge/understanding Understanding of working with non-technical/strong business facing skills Primarily waterfall methodology primarily from working with Business Stakeholders, IT side does Agile About the role - one system that has already been stood up/changes are being made from an architecture perspective/keeping the enterprise architecture updated, than there will be other projects that will come up, different use cases. Its a Custom Solutions built AWS (serverless architecture), new requirements that are coming in from the business side and looking to scale out About the role: Designs architectures, solution blueprints for projects or solutions that address business/application/data/infrastructure requirements Works with Business Analysis and Solution Engineering functions and supports functional & technical requirements management, including driving software selection processes Ensures that solution architectures and designs are appropriately robust and address business, application, information and infrastructure architectural requirements Accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned to AstraZenecas Enterprise Architecture, in support of a given portfolio. The Solution Architect will partner with project managers, business analysts, and solution engineers to create solutions that are aligned to AstraZeneca architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits). Within the solution development lifecycle the role will be accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case. Provides technical & IT expertise support to project teams and conducts AZ architectural reviews throughout project lifecycle Ensures compliance with existing EA guidelines and EA Software Standards Contributes to project and service teams in the development, implementation and maintenance of standard architectural components Works with third party suppliers as required and contributes to the creation of local or functional design documents Works with third party suppliers to verify technical development and delivery are in adherence with the Architecture Roadmap, Blueprint and Information Services Strategy Documents all architecture analysis and design work Contributes to the development of the Architecture Capability by documenting and sharing knowledge and best practices with peer Architects Work with vendors and open-source communities to build strategic relationships.
