Improve Incident Resolution timeframes. Influence improved development practices ongoing to prevent incidents. Liaison ongoing across Support, Development and business stakeholders to drive ETL Support Improvements with continuous constructive checks and balance review for improvement. Roles & Responsibilities: Work with team to upgrade TWS jobs post Tivoli version upgrade Lead Problem Management Root cause Analysis and associated follow-up actions. Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability of our ETL data systems. Develop and maintain data validation processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our data. Continuously collaborate with ETL Support to develop and implement strategies to improve the monitoring, alerting and support response in support of our ETL data systems. Identify and Facilitate implementation of automation to self heal incidents. Continuously develop and maintain documentation for all ETL data-related processes and procedures for improved support response. Continuously Collaborate with ETL Development to drive strategies to improve development practices to ensure data quality and accuracy. Continuously Collaborate with business partners to improve ETL data support processes. Participate in on-call rotation to address any Major Incidents/P2 Triage Calls. Troubleshoot issues related to ETL data quality, reliability, and performance. Develop and work toward Score Card mechanism for Data Producers and Subject Areas to evaluate/assess their services/performances with a long-term goal of minimizing ETL production tickets received. Able to build new schedules and jobs in TWS, which are in line with client Scheduling Best Practices. Makes changes to existing jobs streams and jobs as requested in TWS. Expert usage of the TDWC. Expert ability to troubleshoot and recognize issues with the daily plan in TWS. Makes recommendations for improvements to Scheduling Best TWS Practices and policies & procedures. Required Skills: - 5-10 years or excellent Informatica Power Center - ETL and Datawarehouse knowledge and experience - Excellent UNIX skills - Excellent Shell Scripting abilities - Familiar with database technologies DB2, Oracle - TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler 9.4) - TDWC usage skills - Good Communication skills Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
