Role: Site Reliability Engineer with Nginx Experience Locations: Austin, TX/ Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Description: We are looking for Nginx Proxy solution and upstream Configuration in Nginx, Linux based Linux Environment Client may request candidate write code in Infra-as-code tools Essential Requirements 6+ years of professional Site Reliability / DevOps Engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience Experience in SRE operations in Public cloud based Production and Staging env for deployment, configuration, reliability, observability, scalability of large scale SaaS solutions Experience in managing Docker containers, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Kafka in a high availability environment Experience in enterprise-class monitoring and metrics tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK stack etc for network/systems/application monitoring. Strong technical/analytical and troubleshooting skills and experience in Investigating and managing production incidents along with experience in release, deployment, repository management process, automation and tools Desired Skills Very good understanding and expertise of Linux operating system, networking fundamentals, performance tuning and configuration Knowledge of Reverse Proxy solutions like Nginx and Load Balancing for backend servers.
