Title : Technical PM with Fintech & AZURE Experience Location : 100% Remote Duration : 6 month contract (with possible extension) Visa : USC/GC Holder Only Job Description NOTES: One of the key requirements is experience in cloud cost optimization. The role leans more to the technical side over PM. Pm is part of the job but this role will be very much hands on DevOps Azure Cloud experience To Be successful in this role you will have the follwoing: Technical: DevOps, CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Bash & python Scripting etc. Experience in scripting like Bash/Python scripts. Experience with OS & Orchestration Docker & Kubernetes. Experience in Configuration Management tools like Ansible automation, Jinja templating etc. Infrastructure as a code tool like Terraform is required. Working Knowledge of Helm charts, EKS etc Knowledge of Argo CD / Argo workflow will be an added advantage. Deployment experience via tools like Jenkins/Teamcity. Prometheus, Grafana related monitoring skills. Must Have Admin level knowledge on Linux/Windows Scripting ,Groovy ,Shell ,Python, PowerShell Ansible/Puppet/Chef CI / CD Tools - Jenkins ,Concourse,Teamcity, Bamboo, GitLab Docker Kubernetes and helm Terraform or CFT or ARM Cloud - GCP/AWS/Azure/Oracle/Openshift/Openstack Troubleshooting/Monitoring/ELK/EFK/Splunk/Logging etc Disaster Recovery and Architectural Knowledge Proven experience in a technical FinOps or cloud cost optimization role. Expertise in DevOps practices with hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Proficient in working with Kubernetes and Azure cloud services; familiarity with other cloud platforms is advantageous. Technical certifications in FinOps, DevOps, and cloud platforms are highly desirable. Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar). Experience with data analytics tools and financial modeling. Responsibilities: Financial Data Analysis: Leverage data analytics tools to conduct in-depth financial analysis of cloud usage and spending patterns. Implement custom scripts and queries to extract relevant financial data for detailed cost breakdowns. Cost Optimization Strategies: Develop and execute strategies for optimizing costs related to Kubernetes and Azure cloud services through infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation. Implement fine-grained controls for resource allocation and de-allocation based on demand. Cloud Governance Automation: Design and implement automated cloud governance policies using infrastructure as code tools. Integrate cost management measures into the CI/CD pipeline for proactive cost controls. DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps teams to embed cost optimization measures into the development lifecycle. Integrate FinOps practices into existing CI/CD workflows for seamless deployment and monitoring. Vendor Negotiation and Management: Utilize APIs and scripting to automate vendor negotiations and explore cost-saving opportunities. Monitor cloud provider dashboards and APIs for changes in pricing models and recommend adjustments accordingly. Training and Documentation: Develop technical training materials and documentation for DevOps teams on FinOps best practices. Provide technical guidance on optimizing infrastructure and code for cost efficiency.
