For vendor emailing Job Description - Job Title : Senior Software Developer - PowerBuilder Location : Albany,NY Hybrid Visa : No H1B MOI : Skype Roles and responsibilities: Participate in meetings to gather business requirements Conduct and participate in technical design meetings Document requirements and solutions Create technical specifications based on approved business requirements Design, code, test, and implement software modules Review code and test results of other programmers Create physical database worktables and temporary tables and indexes Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions, issues, and enhancements). Mandatory Qualification: Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code. 48 months experience writing C# / .net code. 48 months experience with databases, including designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL. 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents. 60 months experience with projects that followed a Project Management methodology.
