Job Title: Workforce Development Coordinator / Public Health Educator 2

Location: Nashville, TN - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate implementation of a Data Modernization workforce development program, including:

Facilitate the Data Modernization workforce development committee and monthly team meetings,

Coordinate organization-wide Data Modernization workforce assessments as directed to further identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed,

Maintain and update the Data Modernization workforce, develop plans, and Support the identification of training opportunities, identification of training offerings, scheduling and implementation of training events, associated communications and marketing, and training evaluation.

Lead the procurement, design, implementation, and maintenance of the TDH Data Training program.

Organize, plan, and execute workforce development events as necessary for various assigned projects.

Identify, develop, and maintain workforce development partnerships and network with other program coordinators.

Aid in the coordination and management of other Data modernization-related projects.

Support Data Modernization related procurement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and a masters degree, and five or more years of relevant experience in workforce development.

Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required.

Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in a business or health-related field may be substituted, on a year-for-year basis, for one year of the required non-supervisory experience

Ideal candidates should be action-oriented, able to work independently and as a part of a team, be customer-focused, be organized, and be able to demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills.
