Hybrid working hours, two days in the office and three off sites. Need strong performance, volume and load testing as well as strong SQL skills. Minimum six months, likely more with this customer. Location is in Evanston, Illinois. No Relocation. Required Skills: 6+ years of testing experience (hands on UI and data related testing) 3+ years SQL experience, strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, with ability to understand and write complex queries. Manual testing covering functional, non-Functional, and analytical testing. Solid experience in Test Automation using Selenium, WebDriver - developing test cases, test data setup. Ability to understand complex business processes & workflow, functional & technical process of application, perform data analysis, validation, and verification. Experience creating test plans and detailed test cases. Experience preparing requirement traceability documents. Experience with test effort estimation Experience with performance testing Technical - Postgres, SQL Server, Java, JavaScript, Excel, Gherkin, Cucumber, GIT Methodology: o Agile - Normal course of project execution is under Agile methodology. o Predictive/Waterfall - Some of the QA projects run under waterfall methodology. Strong communication skills ability to interact with senior developers and business product owners. Highly motivated self-starter and team player with ability to work under minimal supervision. Nice-to-have Skills: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, TFS Experience using JMeter Experience with HP ALM/QC .NET, AS400/DB2 (IBM i), SSIS, SSMS, PGADMIN, Python, SAML, RPA Environment: Our clients current IT landscape primarily includes .NET, SharePoint, Java, AS/400 with SQL Server, Postgres and DB2 database backends. The following Project Management methodologies are adopted: Hybrid Agile/SCRUM (software development) and Waterfall (infrastructure projects).
