| Role: Demand/Project Manager Experience : 12+ Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Visa: No OPT CPT Local TX candidate only No relocation Must have 8 years of Enterprise System Integration experience to be considered for this role. TxDOT has issued a request for a Demand/Project Manager to receive, evaluate, and process requests for solutions and services from different business areas within the organization. They are seeking candidates with experience delivering and implementing enterprise system integration projects/programs that are also skilled in evaluating project and service requests. This is a hybrid role with a 2-day onsite requirement. Candidates must be local to the Austin area. Responsibilities: The Demand Manager is an Information Technology (IT) position that processes requests for solutions and services from TxDOT business areas. The successful candidate will have skill evaluating project requests and working with technical and administrative resources to develop solution proposals for review through existing governance processes. This role must be familiar with industry leading project management methodologies and governance processes that facilitate the delivery of successful projects. The workers responsibilities and skills must include: Experience with general IT SDLC processes. Experience with implementing Enterprise Systems Integration projects Planning and developing solutions by working with Technical Lead(s) including coordination of different technical teams and architects to identify and address dependencies and resolve any impediments to delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills Being a creative thinker to solve issues. Experience with driving Systems Integration delivery projects from 3rd Party vendors to delivery acceptance and project closure. In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology. Working knowledge of product development architecture. Proficiency in the use of analytic tools. Ability to prioritize effectively.
