Job Title : Oracle EDMCS Consultant Location : Charlotte,NC Job Description We are seeking a skilled Oracle EDMCS Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in managing our enterprise data through Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Oracle EDMCS and data governance practices, enabling them to effectively streamline and optimize our data management processes Roles and Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and define data management strategies using Oracle EDMCS. - Design and implement data governance frameworks, including data standards, policies, and procedures, to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. - Configure and maintain Oracle EDMCS applications, hierarchies, and mappings to support various business needs and data models. - Drive data quality initiatives by establishing data validation rules, monitoring data quality metrics, and implementing corrective actions. - Lead data lineage and impact analysis efforts to track data movement across systems and assess potential downstream implications of data changes. - Provide expertise in metadata management, data classification, and data lineage tools to enable efficient data governance. - Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Oracle EDMCS with other data management tools and systems, ensuring seamless data flows. - Conduct regular training sessions for business users and stakeholders to promote data governance best practices and Oracle EDMCS usage. - Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in data management technologies, and apply them to enhance data management capabilities. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. - Extensive experience working with Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) and other Oracle EPM tools. - Proficiency in data governance concepts, data quality management, and metadata management. - Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data lineage techniques. - Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and data manipulation techniques. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Problem-solving attitude with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to Oracle EDMCS. - Relevant Oracle certifications will be an advantage.
