Summary: In this role, you will maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow Platform by performing application maintenance, managing support related to appropriate applications, and contributing to software releases by delivering new features and enhancements. You should have sound technical ability that enables the fulfillment of common configuration and maintenance tasks. Maverik is looking for a Mid-level professional to develop new or enhance existing modules in ServiceNow. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Independently research capabilities of the platform and provide recommendations and implement solutions to meet business requirements. Manage production and non-Production instances, patching and upgrades. Estimating development effort for requirements. Demonstrating experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SecOps) Configure the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows, custom portal widgets, and form modals. Assist in establishing coding standards to help with consistency. Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Experience, Competencies and Education Bachelors degree, Computer Science preferred. Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices Proven track record from developing and operating ServiceNow (3+ years) Experience in working according to agile, scrum or SAFe principles. Advanced strategic thinking, problem solving, communication skills and strong organizational skills with time management. ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer, Certification preferred Experience with MID server, web services (REST), email and other relevant technology Demonstrated knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, SAML and relevant IT architecture experience Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5, CSS, and relational databases such as MS SQL Server Demonstrated skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
